We explored the amazing dunes nearby and stargazed every night. The site is cheap, and the cafe across the road serves solid breakfasts. Just a heads up, the tents don’t come with bedding, so bring your own to stay comfy.
Showers and toilets could definitely use an upgrade. they felt a bit outdated and lacking some essentials.

We stayed for 3 nights in a historic double room, which was clean and comfortable. The highlight was the tasty falafel wrap at the restaurant, and the awesome views from our room! I'd definitely come back.

Cozy, clean room with a hot shower and friendly staff. Check-in location confusing, could use better signage. Ideal for exploring Death Valley. Dining is limited but the restaurant has decent options.

The restaurant had surprisingly good grub—the breakfast burritos are a must-try! The clean and welcoming vibe made it perfect for a post-hike meal. Plus, the hot shower felt like a daydream after exploring Death Valley.
The walls are so thin it’s like you’re bunking with the neighbors—you’ll hear everything! And with no cell service, it felt sketchy not having a way to reach staff in case of an emergency. Bring ear plugs and extra bedding.

Loved the hot shower after a long day! The spacious family cabin offered beautiful views, but the old towels needed replacing. Bring ear plugs – you can hear everything through the thin walls. 🌟

I stayed in a cozy cabin that was surprisingly clean and comfy, and I loved leaving the windows open to enjoy the cool desert air at night. The little garden area was perfect for relaxing after a long day, and I also appreciated the hot shower waiting for me. Just be aware that the walls are a bit thin, so you might hear more than you'd like from the neighbors. 😊

Our stay was fantastic as we discovered the stunning desert views and had a chance to explore Death Valley. The kids loved the warm, inviting atmosphere and the clean, comfy space made it easy for us to relax together. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
My kids wished there were more family-friendly activities available, especially for toddlers. A play area or kiddie pool would have been great for keeping them entertained.

would definitely come back there
The cabin was cozy with clean spaces and a hot shower that felt amazing after a day outside. Enjoyed relaxing on the veranda with a nice view. Food at the restaurant was surprisingly decent, especially the breakfast burritos. There's also a store for snacks and essentials, which is super convenient.

The stay was a treat for a night in a cozy and clean room. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding Death Valley area, and unexpectedly, I had a hot shower with great water pressure, which was refreshing after a day of adventures. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, which added to the wonderful experience. However, the check-in process could use better signage as it was a bit confusing upon arrival.

Perfect getaway spot!
We camped in a small tent and it was super cozy and clean! The surroundings were peaceful, and we loved having a campfire. Restaurant across the street served yummy food, but the internet's pretty spotty. Just a heads up, the neighbors got a bit loud at night.

The location near Death Valley is stunning. I loved the cozy feel of the Queen Cabin and the outdoor section was perfect for stargazing. The restaurant had solid food options at reasonable prices considering the remoteness. Staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. However, the cabin was quite small and I found dust under the bed, indicating housekeeping could use some improvement. WiFi was only available in the shop and restaurant, making it hard to stay connected. At times, the price felt a bit high for what you get, but the experience was still enjoyable.

It was just a fine choice for a holiday here with the best value. The food at the restaurant was quite good, though a bit pricey. Bring extra bedding for colder nights.
